Observation:
Observation is not exactly a treatment option, however is used by doctors to monitor the curves progress. Observation is usually the only thing done for curves of 10-20 degree where the curve is x-rayed every six months to see if there is any progression. Curves at 10-20 degrees can also have physiotherapy as a treatment option.
Curves which are being braced are also observed and x-rayed every six months, to see if there is any progression.
After curves have been found as stable and growth is complete curves are usually only observed and x-rayed once a year.
